林笛的音乐风格可以说风格多样，2001年开始的冷酷仙境之旅是一场梦幻流行摇滚，2002年遇到中阮大师刘星后，指点她进入了世界音乐的领域，在台湾风潮唱片出版了两张个人发烧专辑之后，林笛又将冷酷仙境带入了新古典的器乐风格阶段，与此同时，她的个人私作却充满了女性的呢喃与灵动，除此之外，涉猎甚广的林笛对创作有着永不满足的热情，她的风格和喜好一直在变化着，不愿意重复自己的她将一直在自我的音乐宇宙里漫无边际的飞行。

LinDi’s music can said to be varied in style. Beginning in 2001 with the dark and dreamy pop rock band, Cold Fairyland, then in 2002 she encountered Liu Xing, the ruan master, and entered the world music field. Wind Records of Taiwan published two personal solo albums.LinDi then brought Cold Fairyland into a new phase of classic instrumental style. Meanwhile, her solo work has become more personal and expressive. With LinDi’s wide ranging creativity and insatiable enthusiasm, her style is ever changing. Not willing to repeat, she'll always be in her own musical universe’s ramblingly flight.
